doc á Dear Toni Hardcover  citybreakscheap Dear ToniThis is an elementary age book but since I’m a sucker for a journal I gave it a read A nice little book with a sweet message I think it would be enjoyed by the target age group

doc á Dear Toni Hardcover  citybreakscheap Dear ToniWritten and drawn in the now familiar style of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid this is the journal of Gene Tucks a 6th grader whose teacher has assigned them to write for 100 consecutive days At the end of the time their journals will all be given to a museum and put in a time caps

doc á Dear Toni Hardcover  citybreakscheap Dear ToniThis is a great book for those kids who aren't keen on reading and prefer the format of Dork Diaries and Diary of a Wimpy Kid It is written in diary form as a 6th grade project and includes humorous doodles throughout for those kids who like books with pictures It also reads like a 6th grader actually wrote it and it was a very uick read Gene comes full circle as the 100 day journal project comes to an end and she matures a fair bit BOB In which book does Gene an unpopular 6th grade girl write in a journal for 100 days as part of a class project that will be put in a time

doc á Dear Toni Hardcover  citybreakscheap Dear ToniI really enjoyed this book It is aimed at ages 8 12 and I would agree The book is designed to look like an actual journal with lined pages plus Gene includes hand drawn doodles which really make the journal come alive Even the page numbers look hand written The story was cute and had some good lessons and most importantly it sounded like a 6th grader writing which is what Gene is It has high points and low points happy points and sad points and really captured my interest even at age 25

doc á Dear Toni Hardcover  citybreakscheap Dear ToniI love books told in diary or letter form and this one is no exception The main character has to keep a journal as a school assignment something she thinks is just lame As time passes the journal becomes a tool for growth and insight Duh If only kids kept journals as a tool for self reflection

doc á Dear Toni Hardcover  citybreakscheap Dear ToniThis book was not interesting despite its uniue concept of writing a journal and having someone read it forty years into the future I feel like it has potential to be but maybe this book was just meant to be very simple to prove the book's point Either way I didn't enjoy it It was okay but nothing really resonated with me after reading it

doc á Dear Toni Hardcover  citybreakscheap Dear ToniThe idea of this one is cute with Gene having to write a journal for 100 days to a 6th grader 40 years in the future My favorite part of the book has to be the doodles in the various entries A solid book neither good nor bad but solid For grades 4 6
