FREE READ Ö ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2 ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2I received an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review but I still bought it because I want to support the author The story starts were we left off It was actually awesome to see people respecting and admiring Ruethwyn because she saved their beacon You know the events of the last book paved the way to what happens in this one Some random events are setting up the dominos for when they fall in the next bookThis is one of my favorite series; the characters have depth feeling that you can relate to I am in love with Korima’s maturity and funny ways; Rue’s devotion and determination; Essryl code of honor and person Those three are my favorite characters and I ship them together But there is that pesky little thing known as “uncertainty” and the author’s “will” that might not realize my wish

FREE READ Ö ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2 ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2I would’ve liked to have seen the information about magic being explained in a subtler way There were several instances where the characters would announce something to the effect of “I’ve never heard of that can you explain ” or “Care to explain X” And the information would come out in a paragraph or so I suppose in these instances the story felt akin to the beginningtutorial section of a video game which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I know that the author can do with his writingAdditionally there were many instances of repeated words in the same sentenceueen of Ice felt a little rushed in comparison to its predecessor It was a little too slow moving too and the bit on the way to Valisair almost took me out It just didn't feel like it added to the story especially when I was looking so forward to the Valisair section I wanted to see on that on the journey there and character interactions besides the magi

FREE READ Ö ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2 ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2Solid second installment in the series 35 starsRuethwyn an Elf Magi heavily scarred by a dragon's cursed flames seeks the means to have her body restored and rescue her fellow townsfolk form said dragon Not as exiting as the opening novel but a definite notch above the average for the middel book in a story arc series Madrano is a competent author and writes a compelling narrative Ruethwyn and her friends are likable and even the supposed enemies are far interesting than initially thoughtSo yeah this is a good book and I enjoyed reading

FREE READ Ö ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2 ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2YayAnother great book I loved this book and am very glad that it came to a nice stopping point rather than a cliff hanger Although there is not as much action as some would say I believe that this book is so full of the character if that makes any sense We get to see how our characters grow and interact how they use the knowledge gained over their studies I look forward to the third book and hope it turns out just as amazing

FREE READ Ö ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2 ueen of Ice Through the Fire #2I enjoyed the book but not as much as The Avatar's Flames In comparison this one starts uite slowly and for a while it felt like the story was ‘marking time’ The pace did increase but even when Rue started her ‘pilgrimage’ to the Frostglades some of the incidents seemed like ‘filler’If possible I would have given 35 stars
